A little miracle

One day, we hung out in the mall and found a 200 dirham bill lying flat in front of us. We waited for minutes for anyone who might be looking for it. But then nobody came. So we accepted it with big smiles and grateful hearts. We bought a brand new Lightning McQueen diecast. What a cool treat from heaven!

playdate at 4

On weekdays at 4 in the afternoon we go up to the indoor playground, backside of the gym. We bring out the noise and fun riot. The two odler boys (Zaiid 3yo and Dee 5yo) play with cars and chase, while the 1.5yo Akii and 2yo girl plays - not with eachother though - a bit closer with their mothers.

The sweet girl which she says her name is Sweetie Pie, wants to touch Zaiid's hair occasionally and says she loves him more than his brother. Hahahah!

It's so nice to have these Sri Lankan kids for them to hang around after school. It's a good thing for me too - having easy conversations with a full time mother like myself is a pat on the back that indeed motherly feelings are mutual. And yes we both agree that having two kids are enough already!

The Magu & Manghu Show

Today is UAE National Day. But that's not what's so extraordinary about today. What's making this day wonderful is that the brothers decided not to take their afternoon nap because they'd rather enjoy their new game of sumpay-sumpay which is actually Zaiid's idea.

It's so amazing to see them play with each other, to actually see them understanding their own language, laughing at each other's acts. Now at 7:30pm they're off to bed together.

global village

Before Manona flies back to Italy, we wouldn't want her to miss Global Village. So here are our photos of the trip :)

Waiting for Nawas, our favourite carlift.

And so we enjoy the place...

Akii enjoying a little bit of freedom...

The most exciting part was that our 3.4yo had his first carnival ride, the Caterpillar. He insisted that he is not scared and is ready to ride it with his Papa. Way to go little chugger!

beach trip

We head out to the beach for a quick swim and for Akii's first beach adventure. Sadly though, the little potpot was not up for the new experience and could care more than his milk time. Maybe next year :)

I couldn't take beachside photos as much as I would have because as you already know, cameras are NOT ALLOWED in this side of the planet. Because this kind of shot (see photo below) are prohibited. (Haaay!)

But you know me, I just have to steal some. Zaiid definitely enjoyed the sun, little waves, the sand, and the super cool water.

akii's yarn

Eat that smile!

wall art : cars, doodles, and number 3

My 3.4yo woke up late today and said he didn't want to go to school. He decides to make a mess on our wall. Ok, not mess - but an "art".

First attempt: doodling a car.

Perfecting number 3.
