I passed by their shop a few times already, but last friday I just had to take a closer look...This is insane! I cannot imagine a cellphone worth this much. Take a look at the digits.. click on the image to enlarge and see how much it costs (that's in AED - Dirhams).

"The ceramic used on the earpiece of a Vertu handset is similar to the material used to protect the outside of the Space shuttle." Is it really necessary?
"The 18 carat gold, platinum and diamonds used to encase Vertu's precious material handsets are certified by the Swiss Assay Office." Why? Why would anyone want this much value on a cellphone?
Oh well, I'm just not their target market!
