My 2.5yo has a thing for rocks. He picks them up and throws them... and picks them up again. He carefully selects what rock to pick. Even if he gets his hands dirty, that's not a problem. I only want to make sure he's enjoying his little adventure.
I think he's found that extra wonderful truth in those dull, blunt things.
